Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Alaska - Anchorage on Jan. 23, 2026.
Terry D. Sampley died on Dec. 1, 2025, after a short battle with advanced metastaticcolon cancer. After his diagnosis, Terry chose the brave and fearless path to not dochemotherapy or any other conventional treatments since they would not cure him andhe would just be miserable during the brief time they would give. Hetaught many family members and colleagues all over the country, iron work, and craneoperation. He believed in sharing the knowledge and skill he learned throughout his lifewith others so that those skills would not be lost. Terry will be forever missed by thosethat knew and loved him.
