Jimmy Sampley, 90, passed away peacefully at home with his family. He was born March 25,1934 in Springer, Oklahoma to Dale and Sally Sampley.
Jimmy was a distinguished combat veteran who served in Korea and Vietnam. He served his country in the United States Army for 22 years. Since retiring he enjoyed golfing and his Horses.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Mel Sampley.
Left to honor his memory are his loving wife of 70 years Frances Sampley, sons Perry Sampley, and James Sampley, daughters Jeanne Bumgardner, Martha Sampley Smith, and Alexis Sampley, sister, Lillian Dale Sampley Richardson, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is my grandpa. My best memories are of the summer spent at the lake house. He was a kind and loving grandfather and I will miss him dearly. I love you.
