William (Bill) W. Beaty Jr., 82, of Waxahachie passed away on January 24, 2026 with his beloved children by his side.

Bill was born to William (Bill) Beaty Sr. and Ruth E. Farrell Beaty on January 1, 1944 in Dallas, Texas.

He grew up in Waxahachie and graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1962. While at WHS Bill excelled in baseball from 1959-1962 and was a member of the WHS Baseball team.Bill also attended Navarro Junior College and The University of Texas before joining the Air Force in 1966 and served his country for three years.

On January 22, 1972 he married the love of his life, Kaye Riddle. They were married for 34 years, until her death in 2006.

Mr. Beaty worked in the technology field for many years, then was employed with RGIS from 1992 until he retired in 2007. He then worked at Home Depot Loss Prevention from 2008 through 2025.

In his spare time, Mr. Beaty enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams and a good cup of coffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Kaye, and his brother, Tommy Beaty.

Survivors include his daughter, Nicole Beaty Barron and husband Jamey, son, Trey Beaty, brother, Gary Don Beaty and wife Lisa, granddaughter Emma Kaye Barron, grandson Brooks Barron, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Debbie and Harold Barnard, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West 287 Bypass, Waxahachie, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Grady Cashion of Blooming Grove officiating.

A Private Family Burial will follow on Friday at Gateway Cemetery in Waxahachie, serving as pallbearers will be Cameron Beaty, Erik Barnard, Geoff Myers, Maddox Garcia, Greg Reed and Eric Edelson.
