Terry Lee Saylor, 67, of Cawood, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning, November 14, 2025. Terry was born in Germany to Harold T. and Curleen Saylor on March 22, 1958. A retired surface miner, Terry cherished his profession and the important time he dedicated to an industry integral to the Appalachian community.
Terry was blessed in this life to be surrounded by family members who he loved so dearly: His loving wife of 35 years, Linda Saylor. Brother, Tommy Saylor. Nephew Thomas Saylor. Four children, Melinda A. Clem, Kimberly Noe (Joe), Kenny Clem (Amy), and Ryan Clem (Brooke). Grandchildren, Devin Daniels (Hanna), Bella Wilson, Gabriel and Stella Clem. Great grandchildren Liam and Ledger Wilson and Naomi and Layne Daniels.
A man of deep Christian faith, Terry dedicated his life to serving the Lord and found joy in mentoring others in their spiritual journey. One of Terry’s greatest passions was weightlifting, and he was well-known in the community for his strong work ethic—both in his profession and in the gym. He was a beloved mentor to young men, guiding them toward strength, discipline, and spiritual growth.
