Terry Gene Seagroves

APEX: Terry Gene Seagroves, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2025, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham. He was born in Wake County, NC, to the late William Cary Seagroves and Elsie Gooch Truelove.
Mr. Seagroves is survived by his wife, Amy (Crabtree) Seagroves; his daughter, Tina Seagroves; his brother, William Ralph Seagroves (Margaret), all from Apex; his brother-in-law, Larry Crabtree, and sister-in-law, Tracey Crabtree from Durham; as well as his niece, Michele Seagroves (Morrisville), and nephew, Ronnie Branton (Gina) from New Bern.
Terry retired from IBM after 40 years of service, encompassing both permanent and contracted positions. He was passionate about golf and was a member of the IBM Thursday Night Golf League for over 45 years. Terry developed lifelong friendships through golf and eagerly anticipated their league play, as well as their annual trips to the mountains and the beach. Additionally, he was a proud member of the Green Level Masonic Lodge #277 in Cary, NC, where he contributed to various charitable causes and community service projects. He particularly enjoyed the annual fish fry fundraiser for the Masonic Home for Children.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15th, at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM before the service at the funeral home.
