Terry William Skaggs, 64, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at his home.
He was born on March 24, 1960, in Hayti, MO, to William Harvey and Lucretia Darline (nee Crum) Skaggs.
Terry was a roofer and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed talking on the phone to his cousin Donna Gail three to four times a week for hours at a time and absolutely loved being an uncle and spending time with his entire family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Harvey and Lucretia Darline Skaggs and great-nephews, William Lee Lawrence Clanney and Paul Lawrence Clanney, III.
Terry is survived by his sisters, Sharon (Paul) Clanney, Sr., Collinsville, IL, Deborah Skaggs, Collinsville, IL; nieces, Sherry Fite, Heather Kay (Danny) Guffey; nephew, Paul L. Clanney, Jr.; great-nephews, BJ (Tami) Schlechter, Brandon (Cierra) Schlechter, Zachariah (Tay) Wilhold, Dakota Guffey, Kaeden Guffey, Leiam Clanney; great-niece, Arabella Clanney; great great-nephews, Luka Schlechter, Axel Schlechter; great-great niece, Skylar Bunetta; many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home to aid in funeral expenses.
Memorial Visitation: Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL
Memorial Service: Thursday, October 17, 2024, 12:00 pm, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL

Interment: St. John's Cemetery, Collinsville, IL
