Tevin Shamus Gilbert

Tevin Shamus Gilbert born on June 8, 1992, and entered eternal life on April 2, 2025. Tevin was born in Commerce City Colorado. He grew up living in several towns in Northeastern Colorado before his family moved to Wiggins Colorado when he was 9 years old. He lived a rural country life riding horses, dirt bike, fishing, church activities and helping around the family home. He graduated in 2010 from Wiggins High School. An accomplished Baseball player, he made Varsity and earned a letter at Wiggins High School. He also played for the Fort Worth Drillers, Slammers, Ranger College, and for the Houston Redbirds.
After high school Tevin went on to earn several different degrees and certifications at Brazosport Community College. He enjoyed fishing and loved Red Feathers Lakes in Northern Colorado. Later in life Tevin became interested in motorcycles, worked for Harley Davidson selling bikes, and had his own Kawasaki Vulcan Indian Drifter. He loved customizing bikes and adding his own special touch. Though he was highly educated in several different areas, his true passion was working as a mechanic. In early 2025 he began working for LKQ as a mechanic, a job he loved and was so proud of.
Tevin is survived by his son Nicholas, mother and father William and Denna Gilbert, sister and brother-in-law Jessie and David Hall, brother Chase Gilbert, Grandma Diane Brauer, several aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Bill Gilbert, Grandma Pat Gilbert, Grandpa Leroy Brauer, and cousins Dakota and Romeo.
