Tewfic J. Safieh, 81, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Jerusalem to Joseph and Emily Safieh, Tewfic grew up in a close-knit Catholic family where his faith and love for The Holy Land took deep root. This passion became his life's calling. For over 60 extraordinary years, he dedicated himself to guiding Christian Pilgrims through the sacred sites of The Holy Land, Italy, Greece, and nearly every corner of the world.
Those who knew Tewfic will forever remember his spontaneous laughter that filled every room, his gracious character, and his infectious humor that could uplift anyone's spirits. He had an unmatched gift for turning strangers into lifelong friends. Whether leading groups through ancient holy places or sharing stories from his global adventures, he created experiences that transformed faith and broadened horizons. His generous spirit and unwavering enthusiasm for life's adventures touched countless lives.
Tewfic was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bitsie and brother Nihad. He is survived by his children, Eliane and husband Sameh, Moni, and Joe; his cherished grandson, Naji; his sister, Runa; and numerous dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rest peacefully, Dad.
A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Flowery Branch, GA, with Father Morales officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Church.
