Thad Wardell Alexander

Funeral services for Thad Wardell Alexander, 56, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October30, 2025 at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming with Dalton Alexander as the eulogist. Interment will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.
Thad Alexander died at his home near Douglas on Monday, October 6, 2025.
He was born Saturday, March 22, 1969 in Douglas, Wyoming the son of Wardell Arthur "Bud" Alexander Jr. and Geroldine Faye (Herrick) Alexander. Thad was raised and educated in Douglas, graduating from the Douglas High School in 1987. He was married to Tracy Lee Erosa on February 16, 1991 at the Joe Bright's home near Shawnee, Wyoming. Thad was associated with Bud's Field Service with his father, Bud, since 1974. He was the owner/operator of the field service at the time of his death.
Thad enjoyed photography and star glazing with his telescope, and was a master diver and brewer.
Thad cherished spending time with his family and most of all he adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy; sons, Cody Alexander and Dalton (Kellie) Alexander; and grandchildren, Tala Alexander and Triton Alexander all of Douglas.
Thad was preceded in death by his father, Bud, on November 13, 2019 and mother, Geroldine, on December 29, 2016.
Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Raba, Cody Alexander, Dalton Alexander, Joe Bright, Lee Burgess, and Bob Sargent.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to JAE's Boot Foundation of Douglas in care of Converse County Bank, P.O. Box 689, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
