Thad F. Tatum, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 54. Born on August 21, 1970, in Scottsville, Kentucky, Thad was known for his lifelong dedication to the power industry, having devoted 18 years of his career to Nashville Electric Service. His work often took him to storm-battered areas where he restored power to those in need, embodying a spirit of service and commitment that defined his professional life.

Thad's personality was characterized by kindness and a willingness to lend a helping hand, making him a cherished figure in the lives of many. He was hardworking, funny, and an avid supporter of the Kentucky Wildcats, sharing his passion with family and friends. Thad’s greatest joy came from helping those he loved, especially spending time with his beloved granddaughter, Kylee Cheyenne Tatum.

Thad is survived by his wife, Robin Tatum; son, Kyle Chandler Tatum (Cheyenne Brionna); grandchildren, Kylee Cheyenne Tatum and Isaiah Chandler; father, Browder Tatum (Deborah); and mother, Carol Chandler. He also leaves behind his siblings, Sue Ann Wilkinson (Tim), Sarah Tatum Reid (Travis), and Josh Tatum; as well as nieces Victoria Ann Wilkinson and Collins Reid, and nephews Dash and Sal Reid, among other nieces and nephews.

His proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as Grandpa. Thad will be remembered not only for his commitment to his profession but also for the warmth and love he brought to his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home and Cremation Services in White House, TN, on March 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at White House Memorial Gardens.
