Ms. Lewis, 81, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Merit Health River Oaks. She was a member of Nanih Waiya Mennonite Church and Choctaw Social Dance Group. Her hobbies included beadwork, traveling and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodland Lewis; parents, Bob Bell and Geneva Thompson Bell; sisters, Rose Bell Willis, Sudie Mae Bell Isaac; brother, Bobby Sam Bell; 2 infant great-grandchildren, Baby Ben's.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Ben; sisters, Sarah Bell Thomas; brother, Hayward Bell; 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Bobby Smith, Cassidy Thompson, Kevin Lilly, Kyle Meely, Kent Wesley, Lisha Alex, Michael Gibson. Honorary pallbearers are Choctaw Tribal Social Dancers.
