Theda Brazille Kern Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce that our mother, Theda Kay Brazille/Kern went home to be with Jesus on November 30, 2024 at the age of 85 in Amarillo, TX.
She was born February 20, 1939 in Amarillo, TX to her parents, Doyle and Pauline Brazille. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1957.
Theda touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a loyal friend, generous, caring, and had a wonderful sense of humor. Theda loved her home and was a talented seamstress, with a special knack for decorating, and she loved to read. She lived in Amarillo but spent a short time in Canada and several years in Bellingham, WA where she worked as a state employee.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jody Bryant.
Theda leaves behind a brother and best friend, Don Brazille and wife Doris; five children, Jeff Bryant and wife Lynette of Amarillo, TX, Brenda Harrington, Leigh Ann Walter, Amy Kitchens and husband Brice all of Amarillo, TX, and Kristina Vafeades and husband James of Nashville, TN. She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
