Thelma Ann Briscoe

Thelma Ann Briscoe born June 22, 1938 to Michael Plovish, Sr. and Mary (Rabek) Plovish, passed away peacefully in Greenville, Texas, on November 20, 2025.

Thelma was a woman of warmth, faith, and quiet strength. A proud member of the Baptist faith, she lived a life centered on love, family, and caring for others. She was the heart of her home and the one her family relied on, offering comfort, guidance, and unwavering support to all who knew and loved her.

A loyal Steelers fan, Thelma enjoyed the simple joys that made life meaningful-tending her garden, surrounding herself with flowers and the gnomes she adored, crocheting handmade treasures, and spending time outdoors doing yard work. She loved to cook for her family, and her famous mac-n-cheese and chicken and dressing were cherished staples at every gathering.

Above all, Thelma cherished time with her family. She cared deeply for each of them and took pride in being their caregiver, confidant, and constant source of love.

Thelma is survived by her children, Pamela Briscoe and Michael Briscoe and wife Sheryl; grandchildren Jessica Seal and husband Barrett, Andrew Briscoe, and Hayden Briscoe; great-grandchildren Addison Seal, Bryson Seal, and Jackson Seal; along with a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Briscoe; sisters Margaret Plovish and Mary Plovish; and brother Michael Plovish, Jr.
