Thelma Eilene Ham (nee Chorice), of New Melle, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Loran Ham; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Augusta Chorice; devoted mother of Barbara Sue Wagster and the late Larry Ham; loving grandmother of Wendall (Jean) Wagster, Gary (Stacy) Wagster, Brian Wagster, Vernon (Jennifer) Ham, Danny Ham and the late Christina Ham; treasured great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother; dear sister of 8 siblings.
Thelma was a true buzz saw, always keeping busy and full of energy. She had a deep love for gardening, tending to her flowers, quilting, and canning. Faith was central to her life, and she cherished attending church and being surrounded by her church family. Known as a spitfire in the best way, Thelma brought warmth and spirit to every room she entered. Above all, she treasured her family, with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren being her greatest joy. Thelma was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Thelma's name to Kidney Cancer Association or The Carnation Foundation through ACG Hospice.
