Thelma L. Jones

Thelma L. Jones of Knoxville, TN passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. She was of the Baptist faith. Thelma was a member of F.O.E. for many years. She enjoyed being outside tending to her flowers, playing bingo, and spending time with family and all her grandkids. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, David P. Jones; parents, Sarah and Frank Wilson; sons, Allen Bruner, Wayne Lowery, and Jeff Lowery; daughters, Janice Henderlight, and Sharon Williamson. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah (Cindy) Walker, and Karen Parrish; daughters-in-law, Brenda Lowery Sarton, and Lisa Lowery; grandchildren, Stephanie and Shane Focht, Martha Berry, Angel Denny, Troy Henderlight, Tina Henderlight, Chris and Noelle Lowery, Jason and Ashley Lowery, William (P. Jim) Bruner, Jr. Bruner, Dane Lowery, Addison Lowery, Cash Lowery, Sadie Lowery, and Katie Lowery; great-grandchildren, Adrianne Campbell, Jessica Campbell, Nikki Slaughter, Kim Pendleton, Derik Pendleton, Devon Lowery, Alizay Lowery, Josiah Lowery, Bron Derry, Chancey Lowery, Skylar Lowery, Makenzie Hunter, Chasity Bunch, and Noah Henderlight; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special appreciation to all the nurses and staff at NHC Ft. Sanders for all the love and care they gave to Thelma Jones. Services will be private.
