Thelma Lee Moore

Thelma Lee Moore, age 95, went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2022. She was born in Noble County, OH on February 28, 1927 to the late Harry and Dorothy Stotts. A 1945 graduate of Batesville High School, Thelma worked as a clerk for Sears, for over 20 years, until her retirement. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ, where she made many friends. Thelma was a wonderful Christian wife, mother, and grandma who enjoyed sewing, crafts, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by an infant sister; brother Monty Stotts; and sister, Ruth (Gene) Watson.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 75 years, Denver Moore; children, Edwin (Sherry) Moore, Latrecia (Robert) Maynard, Richard (Cathy) Moore; grandchildren, Anna Dawn Maynard, Cryscilla (Michael) Herbkersman, Ashley (Joe) Barkheimer, Chad Moore; brothers, Keith (Joan) Stotts, Neal Stotts; sister-in-law, Karen Stotts; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 10AM to 12PM at the Reed Funeral Home CANTON Chapel. Service will follow at 12PM.
