Thelma Wajda Obituary

Thelma is survived by her devoted husband, Walter Wajda, Jr.; her loving children, Michele Shannahan and her partner Rich, and John Palmer, Jr. and his wife Cindy; as well as several cherished nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Wyatt and Wylie.
She was predeceased by her parents, James Spooner, Sr. and Marion Spooner; her sisters, Arline, Sylvia, and Eleanor; and her brothers, James and Leon.
After dedicating over 20 years of service to the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and postal clerk, she and her husband retired to their dream home in Ossipee, NH. There, they found joy in the simple pleasures of nature, spending their days exploring the private mountain trails right from their backyard, always accompanied by their loyal dogs.
She had an incredible warmth that drew people to her wherever she went. Her love for animals, her adventurous spirit, and her kind and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished always, and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
The family will hold a private Celebration of Life in May to honor her memory.
