Theodore Dawn Blunck, lovingly known as Ted or Tedro, was born to Edward and Verley Blunck on March 23, 1953, in Lawton, Oklahoma. Ted passed away peacefully in his sleep with both of his daughters at his side on September 9th, 2025. He dedicated his life to the craft of dry walling, leaving his mark on countless places across Oklahoma City. His work even includes home for notable figures like Barry Switzer and Toby Keith and on the movie set of "Twister" in 1995. Ted had a deep love for the outdoors, with fishing being his greatest joy after family. He was always up for a camping trip or weekend cookout with friends and family, often accompanied by an OU game or little league World Series. He was quick to recount childhood memories of roadtrips to see family in Washington, hiking the Grand Canyon or the time he spent hang gliding. He was truly larger than life, never met a stranger and is affectionately known as Uncle Ted by so many. He is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Freeman and grand daughter Willow Freeman; Colbey Blunck and spouse Jay Martin their children Baylor Short and Cherryll Short; Step daughters Kasey and Randi Stokes. Former wife Teena Schwartz-Collins; Sisters Kitty Sullivan and husband Patrick Sullivan; Penny Haney and husband Scott Haney. Nephews and nieces Matt Brock and wife Michelle Brock; Joe Brock and wife Vicki Brock; Ben Brock and partner Megan Marlene; Philip Brock and husband Iain Roach; Clint Grow and wife Katy Grow; Amy Haddad and husband Cameron Haddad; as well as many great nieces and nephews. We will truly miss you and the light you gave to everyone, Daddio
