In Loving Memory of Thomas Ashley Wilkes

March 25, 1958 – September 17, 2025

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Thomas Ashley Wilkes passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 67. Tom spent his final moments surrounded by his loving children.

Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After serving in the Army, he graduated from Texas A&M University.

One of the greatest joys in his day was catching up with his family, taking time to check in and share a moment of connection. He had a deep love for travel, a passion for watching golf, and a gift for bringing laughter and smiles to those around him.

Tom is survived by his children Alexandra Hunt (and husband Brandon), Trevor Wilkes, and Kirk Wilkes. He was the grandfather to: Abigail Hunt, Vincent Hunt, Benedict Hunt, JohnPaul Hunt. Tom is also survived by his sister, Blaine Wilkes and brother, Kyle Wilkes (and wife Dana).

Tom's family & friends will gather at Fort Gibson National Cemetery (1423 Cemetery Road, Ft. Gibson, OK) on October 2nd at 11:00AM.

We extend our thanks to all the staff members at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center for their loving care and exemplary service.
