Theodore Bogel

GEORGETOWN – Mr. Theodore Bogel, 67, of Georgetown passed away Saturday, October 8th, 2022. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Theodore and Lucille (Talbourdet) Bogel.
Mr. Bogel was raised and educated in Danvers. He graduated Danvers High School class of 1973 before going on the attend Nichols College. Theodore was the proud owner of Bogel Industrial Supplies.
Theodore was extremely athletic and was a member of his high school and college swim teams, and a longtime member of the Danvers YMCA. He loved the water and being outside immersed in nature. He enjoyed kayaking and biking whenever he could. When Theodore wasn't playing sports, he could often be found watching them. He followed all his New England sports teams throughout the years. Most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Theodore is survived by his children; Tyler Bogel of Salem and Melissa Bogel of Austin, TX, and by his sisters; Carol Beatrice and her husband, Peter of Danvers, and Claire Lopata and her husband, Michael Keating of Groveland. In addition to his parents, Theodore and Lucille, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law Peter Lopata.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass which will be held at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Conant St., Danvers, on Friday, October 14th at 11 A.M. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Thursday, October 13th, from 5 to 7 P.M.
