Theodore Buday

Theodore James Buday passed away suddenly with family by his side on January 22, 2024. He was 77 years old. Theodore was survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Kathleen (nee Clark); children, Ann Marie Harris (Steven), Ted Buday Jr. (Doris), and Nicole Buday; grandchildren, Matthew, Thomas, Madison, Joseph, and Rebecca; and sister, Helen Buday.
Ted was born and lived in Philadelphia his entire life. He attended Our Lady of Pompeii and North Catholic High School. He enlisted in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was a loving and hardworking man who would go out of his way to help people in any way he could. He was loved by so many people and was the best of the best.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ted's Life Celebration on February 1, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Ted will be laid to rest at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
