Theodore F. "Teddy" Corbett, Jr., 58, of Norris City passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Gallatin Manor in Ridgway, IL. He was born in Gary, IN on November 6, 1966 the son of Theodore F. and Virginia L. (Anderson) Corbett. Teddy married Kassandra Carroll on December 2, 1986. He worked in construction as a carpenter for MT Construction. He was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Teddy is survived by his father, Teddy: wife, Kassandra; two children, Todd (Halee) Corbett and Vanessa (Richard) Cena; siblings, Gwen (Alan) Wurst, Shawn (Becky) Corbett and Rick Flagg; grandchildren, Aydan, Kynlee, Kymbrei, Iylah, Kylie, Declan and Kreed; several nieces and nephews and two special caregivers, Wendy Mercer and Penny Stringer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Corbett.
Graveside funeral service and burial for Theodore "Teddy" Corbett, Jr., 58, of Norris City will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Ditney Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Teddy's memory to Gallatin Manor, 900 W. Race St., Ridgway, IL 62979 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is assisting the family with arrangements.
