Theodore A. King, 71, resided in the Cranbury/West Windsor Plainsboro area, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

He grew up one of thirteen on a large family farm on the outskirts of Pittsburg, PA. He attended Mars High School, and then continued his education with a B.S. (Pre-Vet) at Delaware Valley University. Upon graduation in 1976, he immediately gained employment with Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals. Continuing his education, he received his MBA from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. His career spanned over 50 years, working with companies like Johnson & Johnson, Galderma, Celgene, Celtic Pharm, Luitpold, and most recently working with American Regent Pharmaceutical Company of Daiichi Sankyo. Mr. King was instrumental as the project manager for the team creating Claritin and numerous other influential drugs that have helped millions of people.

In his spare time, you could find Ted helping family and friends, watching his beloved Philadelphia sport teams, fishing, or at the beach in either Stone Harbor or Naples Florida. He had the most special place in his heart for the Jersey Shore and having his feet in the sand.

He played 4 years of football at Delaware Valley University, then 8 years of semi-pro football in Philadelphia, before transitioning into a coaching role for his children in West Windsor sports programs (baseball, softball, soccer, football, and basketball).

Predeceased by his parents, John and Ida Mae (Weissert) King. Survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Beverly (Koch) King; his two sons, eldest Theodore King Jr. and his wife, Nicole, with his two grandsons, Teddy and Jackson, his second son, Brandon King, and his daughter, Brianna King and her wife, Shannon.
