Theodore A. "Ted" Lichon Jr.

Theodore A. Lichon, Jr., 80, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Susanne M. (Guilbault) Lichon, whom he married August 3, 1968. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Theodore A. Lichon Sr. and Pamella (Pratte) Lichon.
Ted worked at Zambarano Hospital in Pascoag as the power plant Chief Engineer for many years. He served his country in the US Navy.
Ted was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed taking his nephews to Pulaski, NY to go salmon fishing. He would monitor the salmon runs in order to get the best fish. He was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan. He purchased ownership stock in the Packers each time it was issued. He loved to joke that he was an official owner of a professional football team. Whenever the Packers played, you would find him glued to the television watching his team. Ted was a longtime member of the Burrillville Townsman Club Golf League. During the summer months, he would spend his Tuesday nights with the boys playing golf. He enjoyed the camaraderie with his golf buddies. Ted enjoyed spending time working around his home doing little projects, but he especially loved just being at home with his love of his life Sue, who he affectionally called "Sam."
In addition to his wife Susanne, he leaves behind his daughter, Pamela Mulligan and her husband Brian of Harrisville and his sisters: Barbara Menard of Harrisville and Dorothy Makowski and her husband Joseph of Pascoag and many nieces and nephews, who affectionately called him Uncle Ted or U.T. In addition, he leaves behind a trove of friends whose companionship he cherished immensely.
Ted's funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 9 AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave., Pascoag. Inurnment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Pascoag Main St., Pascoag. Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 7 from 4 to 7 PM.
