Theodore E. Martin

Theodore "Ted" E. Martin, of Covington, PA, born on April 29, 1946, in Meadville, PA, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, in Troy, PA, at the age of 78.
Ted was a dedicated machinist who spent many years honing his craft at Ward Manufacturing in Blossburg, PA. Known for his hardworking nature and practical skills, Ted was a valued member of the workforce until his retirement.
Beyond his professional life, Ted was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in the outdoors, particularly through hunting, and cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Ted is survived by his devoted wife, Mary (Ellingham) Martin, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. Ted leaves behind a large and loving family, including his children: Teddy Martin, Evelyn Terry, Daniel Tyhanic II, Kimberly McNett, Kevin Martin, Theresa Webster, Margarett Reicco, and Tina Cummings. He was a proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He also shared a special bond with his much-loved niece, Mindy. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Horace H. and June (Hardy) Martin.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM at Bakerburg Community Church, located at 197 Gray Valley Rd, Mainesburg, PA 16932. Family, friends, and all whose lives Ted touched are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of his life.
