Theodore Nicholas "Ted" Nash

Theodore "Ted" Nicholas Nash, 76, of Weston, WV went to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday, March 2, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fairmont, WV on February 6, 1950 son of the late Vincent James Nash and Frances (Smith) Nash.

Cherishing the life of Ted are his sons, Nicholas Nash of Cambridge, OH, Jonathan Nash of Weston, and Vincent Nash of Weston, daughter, Chelsea Pickens and husband, Kyle of Weston, 12 grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Lexi, Mason, Ria, Nichole, Zoey, Thorin, Roman, Zeppelin, Juniper, and Anakin, brother, Duke Nash and wife, Susan of Fairmont, sister, Virginia Nash of Fairmont, and several nieces and nephews.

Ted was a proud graduate of East Fairmont High School who went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Fairmont State College. He began his professional career as a Physical Education teacher at Weston Junior High, where he inspired countless students with his enthusiasm and steady encouragement. In 1980, Ted followed his entrepreneurial spirit and opened T & L Hot Dogs in Weston, WV. For 40 years, he owned and operated the beloved local establishment, becoming a familiar face and cherished friend to generations of customers. Beyond his work, Ted was a devoted outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing. He also served for many years as President of the Stonecoal Fishing Club in Weston, where his leadership and fellowship left a lasting mark. Ted will be remembered for his hard work, community spirit, and the warmth he shared with everyone he met.

Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home, 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston, WV, on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 9 a.m to 10 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating.
