Theodore "Ted" Thompson Sr.

Theodore Ted Thompson, Sr., 70, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his home. He was born February 10, 1952 in Princeton to the late Dave Thompson and Dorothy (Fischer) Thompson. He worked as a contractor for over 40 years and loved to hunt and fish. He was loved and will be missed.
Ted is survived by his wife, Rita Thompson; children, Theodore Thompson, Jr. (Cheri), Chad Thompson (Kelly), and Travis Thompson (Hannah); grandchildren, Megan Martin (Trevor), Payton Henderson (Ryan), Drake and Dillon Turpin and Tyler Reece, Rylee, Damion, Gage, Dakota, and Cash Thompson; brothers, Tony Thompson (Nancy), Jim Thompson (Pam), and Dave Thompson; sister, Susan Horton (Bill); and 21 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patty Nutter; and brother, Tom Thompson.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Ted s brother, Pastor Jim Thompson. Interment will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. A visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at the funeral home.
