Therald Glenn William, Sr. entered peacefully into eternal rest at his residence on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the age of 65. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. “Glenn”, as he is affectionately known to family and friends, was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and severed his country in the United States Navy. He was the owner and operator of C & G Williams Global Trucking. Beloved husband of Paula Williams. Devoted father of Chante’ Williams (Ashley), Ashley Singleton, Tearrani Williams, Jonathan Hamilton, Therald Williams, Jr., and Kyle Edwards. Son of the late Romalice, Sr. and Gloria Williams. Grandson of the late Squire Williams, Jr. and Angelle Williams. Loving brother of Herbert Williams, Lloyd Williams, Romalice Williams, Jr., Inez Mayo, Anna Mae Solomon, Margeret Davis, Claudia W. Allen, and Trennis W. (Levy) Simmon; also survived by 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Zion Baptist Church, 6520 Second Zion Avenue, Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 9:00a.m. Pastor James Nelson Brown, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
