JAMES BRAZLEY Obituary
James Brazley passed away peacefully at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the age of 65. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. James was a graduate of O. Perry Walker High School, and he was employed as a laborer for many years. Devoted husband of Regina Brazley. Beloved father of Miesha Alexis Henry (Alex), Jerrel Brazley, James Cain (Shontae), Lakeisha Cain (Juan), Monique Cain, Auther Cain, and India Cain. Son of the late James Brazley Sr. and Dolores “Wikki” Mosley Charles. Stepson of the late Lloyd “Monday” Charles. Brother of Darnell Charles, June Brazley, and Tova Williams (Damion). Uncle and godfather of Edward Brazley, Eddie Brazley, Tavion Daja’ Williams, Damani Angel Williams, and Dominique Cain. James is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory forever. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation begins at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above name parlor.
