Thereisia Lynn Lila

Thereisia "Terri" Lynn Morgan Lila, age 68 of York, passed away in the hospital on Monday, April 3, 2023.
Born on August 31, 1954, in Parkersburg, WV, she was the daughter of Carl Morgan and the late Daphine Goodman Morgan. She grew up in Mobile, AL and lived in a variety of states throughout her young adult life.
Terri worked in respiratory therapy and in later years worked as a cosmetologist. In her free time, she loved laying in the sun by the pool, beach, or anywhere she could tan. She loved gardening and spending time outdoors. The thing that brought her the most happiness was spending time with family traveling, swimming, going out to eat, shopping, car rides, tea parties, making crafts, decorating, cleaning, baking, and keeping all her family and friends with full stomachs. Terri was the most dedicated holiday hostess, regardless of how large the holiday.
Terri was known as a daughter, sister, mother, wife, granny and to all who knew her, she was a friend. When you needed the shirt on her back, you got it. When you needed a shoulder to cry on, you got it. When you wanted to laugh, she made you laugh. Regardless of the circumstances, she stepped up and was the person you needed in that moment. Even with her sass, her coffee addiction or her need for a 'naughty' she made time for every single person that came in her life.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Robert "Bob" Lila of York SC; her father Carl Morgan; her three children, Kimberly Anne Williams of Jackson TN, Christopher (Sandy) Williams of Vienna WV, and Katrina Rogers of York SC; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Darin, Ashton, Chandler, Laura, Joslyn, Kalyn, and Tripp; and her 2 sisters, Tina (Robbie) Landers of Foley AL and Alexis (Gary) Arsenault Pensacola, FL.
Terri was preceded in death by her mother Daphine Goodman Morgan and her sister Lisa Morgan.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Bratton Funeral Home, 1455 Filbert Hwy York, SC 29745. The funeral service will begin in the funeral home's chapel at 11am.
