Theresa Cepeda, age 58, passed away on December 15th, 2022.
Theresa was born in Queens, NY to John and Lorraine Giglio on November 16th, 1964. She grew up as an honor student throughout her early education and graduated Valedictorian, she then went on to attend the College of Staten Island to pursue a career as a CNA. She dedicated her early life to taking care of the elderly as a CNA at Eger Healthcare in Staten Island, NY. After many years of work, Theresa became a grandmother and devoted her life to being a full-time Mimi. Theresa enjoyed cooking and baking; she loved spending her time with family cooking for the holidays especially when it brought everyone together to make the traditional Pecan Tarts. She was a big animal lover and enjoyed going to the zoo with family.
Theresa is survived by her loving husband, Julio Cepeda, Brother, John Giglio, Her son, Nicholas Rodriguez, Daughters, Samantha Gallagher and Alexis Rivera. Her beloved Grandchildren, Adyson, Hailey, Amari and Mason. She is preceded by both parents, John and Lorraine Giglio.
To say Theresa would be greatly missed is an understatement. She was the matriarch of our family and the glue that kept us together. She was truly the best Mother and Mimi anyone could have asked for, she was extremely loving, caring and supportive. She always knew how to light up a room and make anyone smile and laugh just being in her presence. She was always putting the needs of others before her own and she will be missed by all.
Rest in the sweetest of peace our beautiful Angel, we love you forever.
