Theresa Ann "Terry" Cole was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1959, to Gloria Rice and Vivian Richbourg. She was educated in the Pittsburgh Public Schools System and graduated from Schenley High School in 1977. Terry married Brent Harber and from that union, three children were born; Brent Jr., Tameka, and Jhanay. Later in life, Terry united in marriage with Terrence Cole, and from that union, Julian was born. She was a loving and devoted stepmother to Terrance, Chaze, Tersaun, and Tequila Cole. Terry was a gentle and caring person with a pure heart. She was so many things so many people; for some, she was a shoulder to cry on, for others she was the voice of reason, and yet for others, she was the encouragement needed to get through a trial. She embraced everyone regardless of their walk in life. It was her nature to be supportive and encouraging and many learned to use their obstacles and setbacks as stepping stones because of her encouragement. Terry was a woman of faith and her favorite scripture was Psalms 23. More than anything else, she enjoyed spending time with family. Terry's heart was big enough to work jobs that resulted in her clients becoming family. She served as a Direct Support Liaison and it was her job to assist those who were challenged with daily living. She thrived in this job and many of her clients attended family gatherings and became like family members. On August 7, 2021Terri departed this life for life eternal. She was preceded in death by her beautiful, daughter, Jhanay Unique Morris. She leaves to celebrate her legacy: her husband, Terrence Cole; sons, Brent HarberJr. and Julian Cole; daughter, Tameka Jones (John); step-children, Terrance, Chaze, Tersaun Cole, and Tequila Barber (Joshua); her mother, Gloria Harris; father, Vivian Lloyd Richbourg; sister, Gloria "Lila" Rice; brothers, Carlos Rice (Tracy) and Marshall Richbourg (Lisa); 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relative and friends. Terry loved well and is well-loved and deeply missed.
