Theresa Dvorak Obituary
Mrs. "D" passed away at the formable age of 85. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard and her son Jeffrey. Theresa grew up in Queens, New York and later moved to Huntington, NY, when they adopted their only son Jeffrey.
Her first jobs were in advertising in Manhattan and then she went on to have successful career as travel agent, owning an agency on Long Island for 10 years. She had a lifelong love of travel and adventure. Growing up in an Italian family, she continued to keep the traditions, especially as an amazing cook.
Terry and Richie moved to Charlotte in 1990 and enjoyed exploring the city, making new friends and keeping in touch with the many old ones. Although, we are deeply saddened by her passing, we also recognize and celebrate the wonderful life she lived.
Memorial Service will be at St Mathews Church in Charlotte, NC (in the Chapel) Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 1:30 PM
