Theresa Jeannette Fields, 49, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Chippewa Manor in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on December 1, 2022, after a lengthy battle with Covid related health problems. She was born on March 30, 1973 to Ardith and Janice (Luptak) Wiser in Richland Center. She attended Richland Center schools, graduating from Richland Center High School in 1991.
She attended South West Technical College to become a nanny. She worked in one nursing facility for a while before marrying Mike Fields in 1999. After her son Paul was born she stayed home to become a stay at home mother.
Theresa loved to color in books using wood art projects, her dog and cats, loved to read Westerns, listened to country music, watched nature documentaries and loved to talk to friends while raising her children. She also babysat for neighborhood children.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Mike; children: Paul and Angela Fields of Richland Center, and Kisstin (Mike) Edge of Shullsburg; brothers: Chris (Lynn) Wiser and Robert Wiser of Blue River; mother-in-law: Joan Wheeler of Richland Center; brother-in-law: Norman (Peggy) Burgette of Baraboo; one step-granddaughter: Brooklynn Edge; three step-grandsons Draygon and Dayson Lange and Michael Edge Jr.; several aunts and uncles; special friends: Tricia Peetz of Baraboo and Paul Turrentine of Texas.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, step-grandson James Edge, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
A private family service was held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
