Hansen, Theresa M. – Beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on November 2, 2024 at the age of 90.
She entered this world on February 28, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, born to Harry and Agnes Janz. She was preceded in death by Robert C. Hansen, her husband of 60 years, her brother Richard Janz and his wife Norma. She is survived by children Dr. Judy (John) Carlson, Terry (Fr. Brian) Hansen-Beno, Mary Hansen, Sr. Margaret Hansen, Jeanette Hansen, Sharon (Randy) Fons, Betsy (Doug) VerBockel, Patty (Chris) Chatham, Chris (Cheryl) Hansen, Bob (Cyndee) Hansen, and Paul Hansen. Also survived by two nephews, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Terry was a lifetime homemaker and dedicated her life to raising her family and serving others in multiple ways. She graciously opened her home and heart to warmly welcome family, friends and other guests. Serving as a mentor to new mothers of children with special needs, she offered comfort, insight and encouragement. As a committed parish member she worked with the mission group sewing quilts, prepared meals for St. Ben's, served as a Eucharistic minister, and was a member of the Christian Women's Society.
Memorial Gathering at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 12130 West Center Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow.

My Aunt Terry was a truly amazing woman. My favorite memories are how she managed all eleven children on Sunday morning. While preparing breakfast and cleaning up afterwards, everyone had a role and all seemed very content doing their part. Getting ready for church went incredibly smoothly as well, at least on the times we came to visit from Chicago. She made the best Spanish Eggs ever!
She will be greatly missed and we look forward to seeing her again in heaven!

Thank you Aunt Terry for being the best example of a Christian mother I know.
