Theresa Hayes Obituary
Theresa Caten Hayes of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away quietly in the morning hours of 10/20/24.
Theresa is survived by her daughter Tammi Van Cleave and son-in law Jon Van Cleave, four grandchildren Dylan Dugger, Cullen Pledger, Chase Pledger, and Hana Dugger, one daughter-in-law Lauren Pledger and one great granddaughter Amelia Pledger.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Elsie Caten, one grandson Braden Pledger, her husband Louis M Hayes Jr., one daughter Terri Hayes Winstead, and her brother William Caten.
Theresa was a kind and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family. She was a graduate of Central High School and was there during the integration of the Little Rock Nine. She loved watching and cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks, most especially the men's basketball team.
She attended New Life Church and supported the Arkansas Dream Center. Donations can be made there in her name.
A memorial service will be held at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home on Thursday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at De Ann Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas.
