It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Kacmarcik, a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend, on August 3rd, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by her family.
Theresa, known affectionately as Terry, was predeceased in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Raymond T. Kacmarcik, who passed away in 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Genevieve Kacmarcik and Kathy Jacobsen, and her grandchildren, Erica and Jessica Jacobsen. Her nephew Tibor Janicsek, his wife Edith Janicsek, and her nephew Zoltan Janicsek and his children, Jack and Lucy.
Terry was a woman of deep faith, unwavering strength, and a kind heart. She went out of her way for her family, friends, and animals, always putting others before herself. Her love was felt in every family gathering, and every sacrifice made quietly, without recognition.
Her kindness and generosity will live on through the lives she touched.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 6th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Funeral Thursday gathering 9:00am for a 10:00am service at the funeral home. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Society of Bergen County 221-223 Stuyvesant Ave. Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.
