Theresa Kunard Obituary
Theresa was born July 7, 1952 in Tell City to the late Arthur and Marie (nee Winter) Kunard. She grew up on the family farm in rural Perry County and graduated valedictorian of the 1970 class of Perry Central High School, Leopold, Indiana.
She earned a BA and MA in business from Indiana University and later a Technology degree in computer science. Her initial career focus was management, but she gravitated toward the design and sale of telemetry/monitor and control systems. She retired in 2022.
Theresa was a quiet, sensitive, and kind individual who loved music, animals, and learning. After a long illness she passed peacefully on December 15, 2023 with family members at her side in Indianapolis, IN. She is predeceased in death by siblings Kenneth Kunard and Angela Niehaus.
Theresa is survived by her brothers Jerry (Linda) Kunard of Atlanta, James (Linda) of Indianapolis, Jesse (Pat) of Carlsbad, CA, Bernard (Sharon) of Indianapolis and her sisters Carol (Dennis) French of Salt Lake City, Wanda Courtney of Charlotte, NC, and Betty Kunard of Ft. Wayne along with 17 nieces and nephews.
