Theresa Fay Mahr, 66, of Puyallup, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2022, after a long illness.
She was born in Vancouver, WA on December 6, 1955; a daughter of the late Clyde Sohn and Marie Deschner. In 1988 she started dating Bill Mahr. They were married on August 20, 2004.
Theresa worked for a time as an Electronics Assembler for Boeing and Fluke. She later worked as a Certified Nurses Aid, Physical Therapy Aid and an in-Home Healthcare Provider. She had a kind heart and took great care of her patients, who loved her dearly.
In 2017, Theresa and Bill retired and spent their time traveling to places like Maine, the five National Parks in Utah and Sequim, WA. She loved camping and hiking but Cooking and baking were her passions.
Theresa is survived by her husband of 18 years, William "Bill" Mahr, her son Shane Burns (Amy) and her daughter in law Danielle Burns and her beloved grandson Ethan. Her brothers Bill (Nedra) and Mike Sohn and her sisters Chris Wredberg and Suzanne (Randy) Stark; her Aunt JoAnne Reynolds and Aunt Mary Deschner and many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, her sister and Best friend Doreen and her Brother-in-Law Walt Wredberg.
