She was born in Boston on July 15, 1956 and was a daughter of Patricia (Lordan) Mcavoy of Hudson, NH and the late Walter Mcavoy.
She enjoyed travelling throughout New England, especially Boston and Ogunquit, ME. She also loved going to many of the historic towns and areas throughout the area. She had a passion for all things cooking. She also loved decorating her home for Christmas as it was her favorite holiday. Her greatest joy was her time spent with her granddaughter Emily.
Theresa leaves her son, Brad Ciesla of Chelmsford, Melissa Duffty of Chelmsford, and her granddaughter Emily. She also leaves her siblings, Linda (Mcavoy) Nielsen and her late husband Bob, Robert Mcavoy, Gina (Mcavoy) Demers and her husband Rick, Walter "Wally" Mcavoy and his wife Alice, Brian Mcavoy and his wife Denise, and sister Patricia "Patti" Mcavoy.
Graveside Services will be held privately. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
