Theresa (Terry) Skawinski, 89 yrs of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Sunday, September 10th, 2023. Theresa was born in Hackensack, NJ and lived in Lodi and Garfield,  before moving to Little Egg Harbor.  She worked at Hackensack Medical Center and Southern Regional Middle School until her retirement.  She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church in Little Egg Harbor. Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family, her furbabies, tending to her garden, and scratch off lottery tickets.  

Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Teddy, parents Lawrence and Theresa Mullins, and siblings Thomas, Andrew, and Rose Mullins. 

She is survived by her loving daughters Mary Furnari and Gary Vrabel, Roxann and Chuck Griffin, Theresa and Peter Curreri, sons Ted and Dawn(Posey) Skawinski, Gregory and Melissa Skawinski and John and Jeannette Skawinski, her sister Bridget Degliomini, grandchildren Jason and Kimberly, Danielle and Max, Matthew and Mimi, Joseph and Emily, Maxine, Maxwell, Teddy, Gregory, great-grandchildren Wells and Michael, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Donate now to St. Jude’s and help kids fighting cancer - St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org) or a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held on Sunday September 17, 2023 from 4-8pm. 

The funeral will be on Monday September 18, 2023 with a brief visitation from 9:30-10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church 450 Radio Rd. Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. 

Internment will take place on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at 11:30am in St. Michael’s Cemetery in South Hackensack, NJ.
