Thom Kelly

Thom Kelly passed away October 9th, 2025. He was 73 years old. Thom was born in Spokane March 20th, 1952 to Bob and Betty Kelly. The youngest of four brothers; Dan, Mike and Terry. He lived all of his 9 lives to the fullest and hardest possible. In a good way. Thom was most at peace at the little cabin at Kalispell Bay, Priest Lake, ID. Cruising the lake at a snail's pace in one of his many yachts, pouring beers at Frizzie's to the locals and yokels and rolling ship captain crew. He was pulled into the life of a 'family man', not so much kicking and screaming but slowly limping with his Irish cap and sip of Jameson. City life was not for Thom. An old cowboy born a hundred years late. He loved his wife, Sandy deeply. When his step-son, Nic, had daughters they were an endless source of belly laughs and hijinks. Grandpa Thom loved his granddaughters and wouldn't hesitate to flip them the bird which was reciprocated with a wink and a smile. We'll miss his boisterous laugh, his Irish eyes smiling and the Lonesome Dove that was T.K. "It's 10:03. Ready, Thom?" "Yes'm. Go wait on the porch.." Thom is survived by his wife, Sandy. Brothers, Dan and Terry (Karen). Step-Son, Nic. Granddaughters, Chloe and Emma. Daughter, Stacey (Holly and Emily). Numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents Bob and Betty and brother Mike. As well as numerous cats and dogs. His family would like to thank Hospice Care of Spokane for their compassion and kindness. We'll be waiting on the porch, Grampa Thom. We love you past Priest. Your family.
