Thomas "Tom" Bamman

Thomas "Tom" Bamman, age 76, of Surgoinsville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. He was a member of Hope Community Church in Rogersville and was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ. He served there on the greeting team and Celebrate Freedom Recovery Program for several years.
He retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 33 years of service. He loved to travel and ride his Harley. He was able to travel to all states except Hawaii and North Dakota. Photography was his passion. He loved taking still life photos wherever he traveled. Any chance he got he would go to the lake where he could fish and camp. He took pride in yard work at home and at the lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stillman (Tom) and Donna Bamman; sister, Beatrice (Earl) Cross; grandson, Dillian Bamman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Barbara Bamman; son, Thomas JR "Buck" (Angel) Bamman.of Jonesborough; daughter, Becki (Tracy) McCoy of Gray; stepson, Josh (Angel) Mauk of Church Hill; grandchildren, Zeke, Britney, Alicia, Melanie (Andy), Jessica; great-grandson, Zaelyn; great-granddaughter, A.J.; step-grandchildren, Piper, Zayne, Erick; and a host of friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday, June 13 from 1:30-3:00pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will begin at 3:00pm with Pastor Jesse Hartgrove officiating.
