Thomas Bartkowicz Obituary
Tom retired from General Dynamics after more than 40 years working as an engineer. He was an active water & snow skier; and enjoyed spending time on his boat with friends and family. An avid traveler, Tom visited countless countries in his lifetime. He was devout Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He spent his retired years being an active member in his community and volunteering with a number of organizations, such as the Anchor Bay Lions Club, New Baltimore Civic Club/Goodfellows, and the Bay-Rama festival committee.
Visitation Wednesday February 28th, 3-8pm with a 7pm Rosary Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons. 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate 9:30am Thursday, until the 10am Funeral Mass at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 21440 Universal Ave, Eastpointe. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Vincent de Paul or the Alzheimer's Association in Thomas's name are greatly appreciated. I am very sorry for your loss. Tom was way to young. I had the pleasure of working with Tom at General Dynamics for many years, not only was Tom a great engineer but he was a very good friend to me and many others. Tom was very proud of his family and his children accomplishments. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
