Buckeye worked for Ready Van as a driver when he was younger. Buckeye enjoyed going to the casino. He also loved to wheel and deal at pawn shops, spending time at the Blarney, loving and caring for his pet birds, and spending time with his family.
Buckeye was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ida, Butch, Mary, George, Vera and Edith; nieces, Terry Jo and Patti who he was especially close with. He was survived by his sister, Zola "Sue" (Georgie) Bennett; brother, Ronald Bennett (Donna); stepdaughter, Andrea (Terry); and stepson, Donnie; many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to nephew, Chuckie and Lisa for the care they gave to Tom.
A celebration of life will be on Sunday, May 21 from 2:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at the Northwood VFW, 102 W Andrus Rd., Northwood. Online condolences may be left at walkerfuneralhomes.com. Arrangements were entrusted to Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, Rossford.
