With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Branche Bowman Sr., age 93, who passed away peacefully after a rich and meaningful life, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Henrico, Virginia, Thomas was the eldest son of Branche Bowman and Martha Longhorn Cahill.

Thomas was a proud United States Marine who bravely served his country during the Korean War, demonstrating unwavering courage and dedication to duty.

As a longtime resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, Thomas dedicated a significant portion of his career to North Vista Hospital. He was celebrated for his warm smile, infectious laughter, and his rare gift for making everyone feel valued. His deep sense of compassion and steadfast commitment made him not only a trusted presence but also a beloved friend and mentor whose impact extended far beyond the hospital walls.

Thomas was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Bobbie Bowman, whom he met while working as a service writer at Caravan Automotive Center in Las Vegas. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and a shared spirit of adventure. Together, they explored countless national parks and found their second home in Hualapai, AZ—always seeking new memories, laughter, and moments of wonder. Thomas’s zest for life was evident in every journey they took together.

As a proud father, Thomas cherished summers filled with family road trips, capturing the beauty of national parks and the wonders of nature through his camera lens. Friends and family fondly remember him behind the wheel of his Suburban—"Bowmans" emblazoned across the back—or at the helm of Big Red, his beloved rig, always eager for the next adventure. Whether photographing his children feeding bears or ensuring no one was left behind at Niagara Falls, Thomas delighted in every shared journey, treasuring the bonds and memories forged along the way.

He is reunited in heaven with his parents, Branche Bowman and Martha Longhorn Cahill; his sisters, Johanna Weddell and Terry Feyerabend; his sons, Stephan Bowman and Timothy Bowman (Denise); his grandsons, Benjamin Bowman and Jason Kovacs; and his many beloved fur children.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Bowman; his children, John Bowman (Denise), Cynthia Tschanz (Russell), Thomas Bowman Jr., and Richard Bowman (Monique); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Thomas’s memory to an organization supporting veterans, in honor of his lifelong dedication to care and compassion.
