Tom Bridger, age 69, beloved husband and cherished friend, passed away on November 24, 2024, at HCMC Hospital, surrounded by family. He was born on July 26, 1955, in Chicago, IL, to his parents, Thomas and Patricia. Tom was known for his love of camping, his passion for yard work, and the companionship of his beloved dogs.
Tom was married to Paula for 33 wonderful years, sharing countless memories and adventures together. He is survived by his wife, Paula; dog, Sam; step-mother, Eileen; sister, Kay and her husband, Robert. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, and sister, Lisa.
His spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In honor of Tom's memory, a Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee, MN, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10 AM - 12 Noon; with time for sharing beginning at 12 Noon. Full military honors will be provided by the Shakopee Veterans Honor Guard. Reception will follow at the Shakopee V.F.W. Post 4046 from 12:30 until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
