Thomas F. Brislin of Montague, died unexpectedly on July 22, 2025. He was 70 years old.
The son of the late Florence and Paul A. Brislin, he was born on December 31, 1954 in Hackensack, NJ.
Thomas led a life marked by service, versatility, and a passion for bringing joy to others. Following his graduation from high school, he proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Upon returning home, Tom embarked on a diverse career path, taking on a variety of roles. His final position was as a dedicated gas station attendant at the Citgo Service Station in Montague, where he was known for his reliability and friendly demeanor.
A man of faith, Tom was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church. Beyond his professional endeavors, Tom was a gifted entertainer who delighted audiences of all ages. Under the persona of Lucky the Hobo, he performed showcasing his exceptional talents as a balloon sculptor, juggler, and magician at events, children's parties, and gatherings. His enthusiasm and skillful performances created lasting memories throughout the region. Additionally, Tom shared his love of music as a DJ, spinning tunes and emceeing at numerous weddings, events, and celebrations, where his energy made every occasion unforgettable.
In addition to his parents Tom was predeceased in life by his sister in law Rosemary Brislin.
Beloved brother of Paul M. Brislin and James F. Brislin with his wife Darlene. Cherished uncle of Matthew Brislin (Margaret), Joseph Brislin (Bethany) and Christina Van Keuren (Ryan). Great uncle of Veronica, Gemma, Gabrielle, Therese, Jude, Agnes, Becket, Bosco and Philip.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday 7/29 from 1 to 5:00PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis NY 12771. The family will gather 9AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00AM at St. Mary's RC Church 48 Ball Street, Port Jervis. Following the Mass burial will take place in the family plot at St. Mary's RC Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.
