Thomas "Tommy" Brown

Thomas "Tommy" M. Brown passed away on August 14, 2024, at University Hospital in Mobile, AL, from a brief illness of pneumonia and dementia. He was 71 years old.
Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lamar Brown and
Ruby Grey Dodson Brown Shelton Batton; and one brother, Jimmy Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sheila Bynum Brown of Spanish Fort, AL; daughter, Michelle Criswell (Stephen) of Mobile, AL; granddaughters, Hayden Grey Criswell and Hadley Hayes Criswell of Mobile, AL; sister, Beth Morris (Mike) of Bessemer, AL; brother-in-law, Rex (Kathy) Bynum of Enterprise, AL; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and a host of special friends.
In his 71 years, Tommy never met a stranger with his unique smile and personality. You would most likely find him on a golf course somewhere or playing cards.
Each of us have special memories of Tommy that we'll always cherish, and because of this, his life will remain in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Tuscaloosa, AL.
