Thomas (Tommy) Victor Chavez February 14, 1987 – December 28, 2025 With broken hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Thomas Victor Chavez, who left this world on December 28, 2025, at the age of 38.

Born on Valentine’s Day, Thomas lived with a heart just as big as the day itself. He was creative, bold, hilarious, fiercely himself, and impossible to forget. He didn’t just enter a room — he changed the energy. If you knew him, you have a story. If you loved him, you carry him forever.

Thomas adored his family deeply. He is survived by his parents, Tommy and Priscilla Chavez, his brother Julian Chavez, and his four nieces and nephews, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by many extended family members and countless friends who loved him dearly.

A Celebration of Life honoring Thomas will be held: Friday, February 13, 2026, 6:00 PM Olympus Event Center 4591 Vista Fuente Rd NW Albuquerque, NM 87114

We chose his birthday month to celebrate him the way he deserves — with love, laughter, and stories that keep his spirit alive. Guests are welcome to wear red, gold, white, or a purple in honor of Thomas’s vibrant spirit. Flowers are appreciated, though not necessary. For those who wish to honor Thomas in another way, optional donations will be gathered in his memory for his beloved nieces and nephews.
